THE BENEFITS OF CBD

Scientists, researchers and chemists are rapidly discovering the health benefits of cannabinoids as a natural pain-relief remedy for symptoms associated with neurological diseases, sleep disorders, mental disorders and cancer. Multiple studies are showing therapeutic value in cannabinoids and terpenes found in CBD compounds.

CBD is just one of the many cannabinoids found in natural cannabis. Cannabinoids are 21-carbon molecule that stimulates endocannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2) in the brain creating a calm nervous system, while blocking pain receptors in the brain, stimulating the amount of serotonin in the brain. CBD is a non-psychotropic cannabinoid, meaning it does not contribute to the euphoria associated with THC. THC has been illegal in many areas in history. CBD, when formulated correctly to be THC-Free, is the natural homeopathic element of Hemp and is considered legal in the United States and in 40 countries, and its use is not currently restricted by governing bodies.

The recent science and studies are proving CBD to be a very therapeutic supplement for symptoms associated with numerous ailments. CBD is a powerful anti-epileptic, anti-depressant, anti-inflammatory, anti-nauseate, sleep aid, muscle relaxant, and anti-proliferative. Scientific studies have found cannabinoids to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDS receptor antagonism, therefore are used in the treatment of inflammation and autoimmune diseases. Cannabinoids are found to have applications as neuro-protectants limiting the damage following stroke, trauma, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and seizures. The science is rapidly growing on CBD and a possible treatment for Epilepsy, depression, PTSD, Social Anxiety disorder and mental disorders.
